An AI you can put in front of a client — because it never invents a number.
Accountants can't stake their name on a figure a language model made up. Beacon is built so that can't happen. Here's exactly how.
Deterministic engine
All financial maths — cash, revenue, expenses, margins, forecasts, runway, working capital, ratios, statements, variances, KPIs — runs in deterministic code with decimal-safe arithmetic. The same inputs always produce the same output. No floating-point drift, no model guesswork.
Full provenance
Every source is registered — its owner, currency, period and how it was extracted. Every figure Beacon reports links back through its mappings to the exact ledger line or bank transaction it came from. You can always answer "where did this number come from?"
Non-destructive by design
Scenarios and forecasts are overlays on top of the actuals — never edits to them. A "what if" can never silently change a client's real accounting data. The base case stays clean and auditable.
Champion / challenger forecasts
Forecasts are scored against actuals as they arrive. A new forecasting approach only replaces the current one if it measurably beats it on held-out data — and a human approves the swap. Accuracy improves on evidence, not opinion.
Reconciliation checks
Before anything is trusted, Beacon runs accounting checks — reconciliation, entity rollups, working-capital continuity, scenario coherence. Gaps are surfaced, never hidden. No silent reconciliation holes.
Human control at every boundary
Connecting a source, changing the model architecture, promoting a forecast, publishing to a client — each consequential step needs a person to approve it. The AI proposes; your firm decides.
Beacon remembers each client the way a good CFO would.
Registered sources, field mappings, the corrections you've made and why, the decisions you've approved, and the history of every forecast — all retained per client. So the judgement your firm puts in compounds instead of being re-asked every quarter.
Accuracy you can defend to a client — or a regulator.
